ICSE Class 10 Answered
Speech on Save Nature
Good morning, everyone, respected teachers and all my dear friends.
Today, I want to discuss something very important: saving nature. Nature isn't just scenery or a place to visit on weekends. It's the very foundation of our existence. The air we breathe, the water we drink, the food we eat—it all comes from nature.
However, our actions are putting the delicate balance of nature at risk. Deforestation, pollution, and climate change are threats we can't ignore.
The good news is that we can still make a difference. Even small changes in our daily lives can have a big impact. What can we do to save nature?
- Plant a tree: Trees absorb carbon dioxide, a major greenhouse gas. Plant one in your backyard, organize a school tree-planting drive or simply support organizations that do.
- Reduce, Reuse, Recycle: This mantra applies to everything! Reduce your plastic consumption, reuse what you can, and recycle diligently.
- Conserve water and energy: Take shorter showers, turn off lights and electronics when not in use, and explore using renewable resources like solar power.
- Spread awareness: Talk to your family and friends about environmental issues. Organize clean-up drives or campaigns to promote sustainability.
Remember, we are not just part of nature; we are nature. We must protect it, not just for ourselves but for future generations. Let's make it a collective effort. Let's choose a greener tomorrow.
Thank you.
