Changes in leaders frequently in a democracy affect the working of the government and the state.
In a democracy, decisions are based on negotiations and consultations. This leads to delay in taking decisions.
Since democracy is based on electoral competition, it leads to corruption. At times, corrupt and criminals become the part of the government. This results in bad governance.
