Each box has 4 marbles in each row.

a. Let the number of rows be r

The rule to find the number of marbles in the box is 4r.

b. If the number of rows is 7

No. of marbles in each row = 4

Then, the number of marbles in the box with 7 rows = 4 × 7 = 28
