In the case of complete linkage, the parental combination of the trait is inherited as such by the young one. No recombinant types are formed because the linkage is complete and no crossing over takes place. Therefore, in dihybrid plant with complete linkage, there would be 2 types of progeny plants produced, each exhibiting parental combination.

So, the correct answer is option 2.
