Ms. Gupta had 24.36 m of cloth. she made 9 dresses using 2.14 m of cloth for each dress. She used the remaining cloth to make 3 shirts. How much cloth did she use for each shirt?

Ms. Gupta had 24.36 m of cloth. she made 9 dresses using 2.14 m of cloth for each dress.
Cloth used for making dress = 2.14 × 9 = 19.26
Remainig cloth = 24. 36 - 19.26 = 5.1
She used the remaining cloth to make 3 shirts.
cloth used for each shirt = 5.1 ÷ 3 = 1.7 m
