meaning of cost of raising funds?

Expert Answer
The Cost of Raising Funds is the Company's Cost of Funding. Such funds can be raised through debt or equity.
In case of debt funds, cost of debt refers to company's cost of raising funds through debt financing and in case of equity, cost of equity refers to the cost of raising funds through equity offerings.
