To find the value of log4 + 1/3 log125 - 1/5 log32
log4 + 1/3 log125 - 1/5 log32
= log 4 + 1/3 (log 53) - 1/5 (log 25)
= log 4 + 1/3 (3 log 5) - 1/5 (5 log 2)
= log 4 + log 5 - log 2
= log(4 x 5) - log 2 ... [Since log a + log b = log(a x b)]
= log 20 - log 2
= log (20/2) ... [Since log a - log b = log(a/b)]
= log 10
= 1
Hence, log4 + 1/3 log125 - 1/5 log32 = 1
