6 paper can be arranged in 6! ways
let's find total ways in which best and worst paper can come together
now let the best and the worst paper be 1 unit
so now total we have 5 papers so 5!
also the best and worst paper can be arranged amongst themselves in 2 ways
so total ways in which best and worst paper can come together is 5!×2 ways
now ways in which they will never come together is (6! - 5!×2)
