It depends on the reaction. All reactions have different amounts of energy evolved or absorbed.

It depends on many factors and intermediate steps. This you will study in detail in Class XI under the chapter Thermodynamics.

In simple terms thermodynamics is that branch of science which deals with the study of transformation of diffeent forms of energy including heat energy.
