Expert Answer
According to the Constitution, the Governor after the General Elections to the State Legislative Assembly, calls the leader of the majority party or the largest coalition in the state to form the government. He then appoints the leader as the Chief Minister. The Chief Minister remains in office at the will of the Governor.
