CBSE Class 7 Answered
Hi Ananya,
Due to time constraint, we will be able to only answer one query at a time. Kindly ask only one question per query.
The King in ‘The Three Questions’ is a good-natured and a well-meaning ruler who wanted the answer to three questions that he considers important in life.
- What was the right time to begin everything?
- Who were the right people to listen to, and whom to avoid?
- What was the most important thing to do?
Though he listened to the answers of the wise men in his court, he continued his search for the answers. This shows that he himself was a wise man who saw short comings in the wise ones’ answers. He was a humble man who approached a wise hermit whom he believed could answer his questions. Dressed in rags, he patiently waited for the old hermit to answer his questions. He forgot his royal status and helped the old man dig the soil in his garden. When a wounded man appeared out of the woods, he helped the man and nursed him through the night thus restoring his life. He may have resorted to violence in his life, but he is inherently a good person who is full of wisdom, sympathy and patience.
