For example, it is contended by historians that in the Ice Age humans from Siberia walked across the Bering land bridge and reached America. Similarly, most historians believe that the Aryans migrated from central Asia into India around 1500 BCE. In the medieval period too, people and tribes migrated across countries. In the modern period, the Europeans migrated into the Americas and Australia in search of land and better living opportunities.
