Differences between botanical garden, zoological parks and biodiversity park:

Botanical garden 

Zoological park

Biodiversity park

These are specialized gardens for collecting living plants.

The live animals are kept and allowed to breed in the zoological park

Assemblages of species in the form of biotic communities that belong to a particular ecological range are bred under natural conditions.

Example- Lal Bagh, Bengaluru.

Example- National Zoological Park, Delhi

 

Example: Yamuna biodiversity park, Delhi.

As we know sensitivity or awareness is regarded as defining property of living organisms as non-living things do not have power of sensing their surroundings and give response according to it. However, paitents lying in coma in hospitals virtually supported by machines which replace by heart and lungs are neither living nor dead otherwise brain-dead. So, considering this case then how we are taking sensitivity as a defining property?
