Expert Answer
STEPS:
1. Draw ΔABC with BC (Base) = 4 cm, AB = 2 cm and AC = 3 cm.
2. Open the compass a distance larger than the perpedicular distance from the point to the line, and scribe an arc intersecting the line at two points.
3. Scribe arcs from this arc of the same radius on the other side of the line from A.
3. Scribe arcs from this arc of the same radius on the other side of the line from A.
4. Draw AD.
5. AD is the line through A perpendicular to BC.
