An alternating emf from a source is given by V= 314sin314t. What is the rms value of emf and angular frequency of the source

Expert Answer
Alternating EMF = vm sin(ωt ) = 314 sin(314t)
where vm = 314 V is peak value of alternating EMF and ω is angular frequency
RMS value of EMF = vm / √2 = ( 314 / √2 ) V = 222 V
Angular frequency ω = 314 rad/s
