a triangle ABC with sides AB=16 cm, BC=12 cm,CA= 18cm is reduced to traingle A'B'C' such that the smallest side of the image traingle is 4.8 cm . Find the scale factor and use it to find the lengths of the other sides of A'B'C'.

Sides of given triangle 16 cm, 12 cm and 18 cm.
Smallest side 12 cm is reduced to 4.8 cm. Hence scale factor = 12/4.8 = 2.5
lengths of other sides are (16/2.5)cm and (18/2.5) cm . Hence reduced sides are 6.4 cm and 7.2 cm
