A force is applied on a body of mass 20kg moving with a velocity of 40m/S .The body attains a velocity of 50 m/s in 2s.calculate the work done by the body.

Using work energy theorem
Work done by force = change in kinetic energy 
W = 1/2mv^2- 1/2mu^2
W= 1/2×20(50^2-40^2)
W = 10×(2500-1600)
W = 10×900= 9000 Joules
