Linear Inequalities in One Variable: Introduction

This video covers the following cases: If a < b and b < c then a < c. Equal numbers may be added to or subtracted from both the sides of an inequality without affecting the sign of inequality. If a < b and c > 0 then ac < bc. If a < b and c < 0 which means c is -ve then ac > bc. If both sides of an inequality are multiplied or divided by negative number, the sign of inequality is reversed.
