ICSE Class 10 Answered
You saw a dream - Did the eyes see it ?
Is it the eyes that see or the brain through the eyes ?

Our brain actually 'sees' whatever we see, eyes are just receptors for vision.During dreams our eyes are not transmitting new information to brain. It's just brain that takes up bits and parts from memory stores and 'sees' it as dreams.
For example, when you see a chair, it’s a recreation of a chair in your brain - there’s no chair in your brain. Imagination & dreaming do the same thing. They do so without the stimulus of light hitting the retina before the information is transducer & mapped, eventually at the visual cortex
