What is the current flowing through the switch ?

after closing the swich S, let the potential at point C is x V .
Let i1 is the current coming from A and i2 is the current coming from B, let they merge at C giving total current (i1 + i2 )
which is passing through 2Ω and switch S.
we have i1 + i2 = i1 + i2 or (20-x)/4 + (5-x)/4 = x/2 ..............(1)
solving eqn.(1) we get, x= (25/4) V
Hence , current passing through 2Ω and switch S is (25/8) A = 3.125 A
