Molecular motion refers to the movement of the constituent particles or molecules in a certain direction. Molecular motions are classified into four types: translational motion, rotational motion, vibrational motion, and electronic motion. The atoms' molecular movements are impacted by changes in heat and temperature.

 

Evaporation is the process by which liquid particles become vapour particles. Evaporation is the transition of an element from its liquid state to its gaseous state below the temperature at which it boils.When a specific liquid is heated, a quick generation of vapour from all areas of the liquid occurs, as evidenced by the visible bubbles. When the liquid is heated, the average kinetic energy of the liquid molecules increases, and when the molecules have a significant quantity of kinetic energy, they can operate against the force of attraction of the other molecules.These molecules escapes the liquid.

 

It is vital to remember that evaporation occurs at all temperatures, whereas vaporisation occurs only at a specific temperature known as the boiling point of the liquid.
