What is difference between exclusive economic zone and territorial waters?

Territorial waters is the area of a sea which is adjacent to the country's borders and is givernned by a country's law. A country has a sovereignty over its territorial waters.
Special Economic Zone (SEZ) is a term that is mostly used in relation with the expolitation of natural resources of the sea by a country. SEZ is an area of the sea in which a country has rights regarding the exploration and use of marine resources, including energy production from water and wind.
