What is called overloading? How will the power rating be if the power supply is overloaded? Give reason.

When the amount of current that can pass through a circuit exceeds its prescribed limit, it is called overloading.
 
A power supply is designed with a specific power rating. This power rating cannot be changed by any user.
 
So, in case of overloading the power rating of the supply does not change and if the current is more, then the power supply will get damaged.
