what dose the term development means

Expert Answer
Development is a wider term that includes increase in real capita income, reduction in poverty and unemployment, improvement in standard of living of the people, reducing illiteracy by providing education etc.
It simply means improvement in the well being of the people of the country.
A key point is that different people have different goals and therefore what may be development for one may not be development for the other.
