Expert Answer:

The given 5/7, number has to be the volume of a student.

CSA of a cone = πRL = 165 m2

L = Slant height = 165/(3.14x5) = 10.51 m

h = Height of cone = ((10.51)2 - 52) = 9.24 m

Volume of conical tent = πR2h/3 = 3.14x5x5x9.24/3 = 241.78 m3

Number of students = 241.78/(5/7) = 338
Volume of air = 241.78 - 338(5/7) = 0.35 m3

Volume of air for each student = 0.35/338 = 0.001 m3
