Two block A and B each of mass 2kg is connected through an ideal soring of constant 100n/m .and placed on smooth surface .the spring is streched by 2cm and the system is released from rest .the speed of centre of mass of system when both block have same speed

Expert Answer
If two blocks and the spring together are taken as system and there is no external force acting on the system,
center of mass of the system will not change its position and will not move.
Hence speed of centre of mass of system is zero
