JEE Class main Answered

three blocks m1=3 kg, m2=2 kg and m3=5 kg lie on an inclined frictionless surface making an angle 30degree with the horizontal. take g=10m/s^2 1)What force parallel to the incline is needed to push the blocks up the plane with an acceleration a=2m/s^2? please answer it fast. 2)find the contact force between (m1 and m2) & (m2 and m3).When the blocks are moving up with an acceleration of 2 m/s^2 up the incline.

let blocks of masses m1 = 3kg, m2 = 2 kg and m3 = 5 kg areplaced on inclined plane as shown in figure.

if F is the force required to push the blocks up with acceleration 2 m/s2 , then we have, F - (10×10×sin30) = F - 50 = 10×2

Hence F = 70 N

Contact force between m1 and m2 = 3×cos30 ≈ 2.6 N
Contact force between m2 and m3 = 5×cos30 ≈ 4.3 N
