The sum of two integers is 17 if one of them is -35 find the other

(-35) + other number = 17
add 35 on both sides, we get
-35 + 35 + other number = 17 + 35
Other number = 52
Note-
We could have solve this problem using algebra as well by taking the other number as 'x'.
