the mean of 50 observation was 250 . later it was found out that the number 152 was wrongly copied as 102 for the computation of mean. find the correct mean

Incorrect Mean of 50 observations = 250

Then, the incorrect sum of 50 observations = 250 x 50 = 12,500

Now, correct sum = 12500 - 102 + 152 = 12550
