the cost of two articles is in the ratio of 7:4 If the cost of the first article is 2,800 find the cost of the second article

Expert Answer
Let the cost of first article be 7x and the cost of second article be 4x
Cost of first article = 7x = 2800
→ x = 400
The cost of second article = 4x = 4(400) = Rs. 1600
