Expert Answer
(8) I only. point-Y is very near to charge at centre in case-I. Potential energy is inversely proportional to distance between charges.
Hence potential energy at Y is higher in case-I only
(9) net workdone to move the charge from X to Y is same as difference of potential energy between X and Y. Also it is independent of path.
Hence as per explantation given for question-(8), workdone is maximum in case-I only
(10) case-III only,
when the charge is moved in a circumference, each point in circumference is at constant potential.
Hence if the charge is moved in a circumference no work is done
