Expert Answer
1. The greatest diametre of the hemisphere is the side of the cube.
The surface area of the solid can be found by adding the area of hemisphere and surface area of the cube.
2. The surface area of the remaining solid can be calculated by subtracting the surface area of hemisphere from the surface area of the cube.
