Let no = 500Hz is frequency of whistle-A and whistle-B.  Let v = 350 m/s is speed of sound
Let vo = 25 m/s speed of observer away from whistle-A  and vs = 50 m/s is speed of whistle-B away from whistle-A
 
Apparent frequency of whistle-A as heard by observer = begin mathsize 12px style n subscript o open square brackets 1 minus v subscript o over v close square brackets end style = 500 [ 1 - (25/350) ] = 464.3 Hz
Apparaent frequecy of whistle-B as heard by observer = begin mathsize 12px style n subscript o open square brackets fraction numerator v plus v subscript o over denominator v plus v subscript s end fraction close square brackets space equals space 500 open square brackets fraction numerator 350 plus 25 over denominator 350 plus 50 end fraction close square brackets space equals space 468.75 space H z end style
From these apparent frequencies, we will come to know only (B) and (C) are true
