answered-by-expert Expert Answer
2x-3y=29  .... (i)
5x+2y=25  .... (ii)

Multiply equation (i) by 2 and (ii) by 3, we get
4x - 6y = 58  .... (iii)
15x + 6y = 75 .... (iv)
Adding (iii) and (iv), we get

19x = 133 → x = 7
Substitute x = 7 in (i), we get
2(7) - 3y = 29
→ 3y = -15 → y = -3
