Sir please do solve this  Last year the total number of students in a school was 5000. This year,the number of boys increased by 5% and that of girls by 3% and the total number of students increased by 202. How many boys and girls were there in the school last year?

let the number of boys be b and girls be g
from first condition
b + g = 5000 ...(1)
 
from second condition
b + 5% of b + g + 3% of g = 5202
b + 0.05 b + g +0.03g = 5202
1.05b + 1.03 g = 5202 ...(2)
now, 
(1)×1.03
1.03b + 1.03 g = 5150...(3)
(2) - (3)
0.02b = 52
b = 2600
g = 2400
