Format of Story Writing
Beginning - Start with an emphatic phrase, idiom or saying. Remember, stories must retain reader's interest. An interesting beginning is they key to grab the attention.
Characters - Try to name your characters interestingly. Each character should have some contribution in the plot. Avoid introducing too many characters.
Plot - Plot is the description of events. The plot should follow a chronology and every sentence should connect to the previous one. Start a new idea with a new paragraph or next line. This is the space where you can give wings to your creativity. But, don't digress from the storyline or make it superflous.
Conclusion - End of the story. Provide an exciting end to the plot. Avoid cliffhanger.
The word limit for story writing varies. Usually, it ranges from 150 to 300 words.
Stick to the word limit mentioned on your question paper.
