Q1. What characterstics is determined by frequency in sound waves and light waves?
Q2. The effective length of pendulum is 101.3 m and the mass of the bob is 18 g. Whwn thw pwndulum is set into vibration in vaccum, the bob moves 4 cm in vertical direction from the mean position on the either sides. Using this information, prove the law of conservation of energy.

1) The frequency of sound tells us whether the sound is high pitched or low pitched. If the frequency is small then the sound is of low pitch and if the frequency is high then it is of high pitch.
 
The frequency of light tells us the nature of that light. The frequency tells us whether the light is a gamma ray, x-ray, ultraviolet ray, visible ray, infrared ray, microwave or a radio wave. Gamma rays have the highest frequencies and radio waves have the lowest frequencies.
