Circumference of the cone and that of the cylinder, means C = 2πR.
Volume of the solid = Volume of cone + Volume of cylinder
V = πR2h/3 + πR2(h/3)
Multiply both sides by 4π.
4πV = 4π2R2h/3 + 4π2R2(h/3)
4πV = (2πR)2h/3 + (2πR)2(h/3)
4πV = C2h/3 + C2(h/3)
4πV = C2(2h/3)
C2 = 3x4xπV/(2xh)
= 3x4x22xV/(7x2xh)
= 3x4x4x22xV/(4x7x2xh) .................Multiply and divide by 4
C = 4[3x22xV/(56xh)]
