proibability = p/q
where p is favourable number of events and q is total number of events.
--------------------------------------------
(a) Probability to get diamond
There are 13 diamond cards in a pack of 52 cards . Hence number of favourable draw = 13
p(diamond) = 13/52 = 1//4
------------------------------------------------------
(b) probability to get queen of spade .
Number of favourable event is only one .
p(queen of spade) = 1/52
--------------------------------------------------
(c) probability of getting red 10 card .
Number of favourable event is two viz. diamond 10 and heart 10 .
p( red 10) = 2/52 = 1/26
-----------------------------------------------------------
(d) probability of getting Ace
There are four aces in a pack of 52 cards . Number of favourable event is four .
p(Ace) = 4/52 = 1/13
