As we move the tube starting from minimum intensity , we get maximum intensity at some position and
moving further again we get minimum intensity so on.

In figure let us denote the minimum intensity as  ' o '  and maximum intensity as ' x '.

If we get 10 maximum and then reaches the final minimum for 5 cm tube movement, then as shown in figure
we get a path difference of 10 cm between the starting minmum and final 10th minimum.

we need to consider the path difference 10 cm , because of two limbs,  path difference becomes 10 cm when tube is moved by 5 cm.

Hence one minimum to subdequent minimum distance = [ 2(n+1) -1](λ/2) - [2n-1] (λ/2) = λ = 1 cm

Hence wavelength of sound is 1 cm .
