The given statement means:
f is a function from set A to the set B where A is called the domain and B is the co-domain 
f is defined as f(x)=ax2+bx+c, where x belongs to the set A or can take any value from the set A and f(x) belongs to the set B
Range: Is the set of all the possible resulting values of the function f(x)
