The Digital India campaign was launched on 01 July 2015 by the Government of India to make government services available to citizens through improved online facilities.
 
What does it aim to do?                     
Connect rural areas with high-speed internet networks. 
 
How? 
 1. By creating digital infrastructure
 2. Delivering services digitally
 3. Promoting digital literacy 
 
The 9 pillars of digital India campaign are
