if Vx is 1.9 V  and vx is 4 mV means, a small ac signal  vx is super imposed in  the DC voltage Vx .

Hence Vx varies between 1.402 V and 1.398 V

when Vx = 1.402 V, current iD = -28×10-3 (1.402 - 0.9 )  = 14.056 mA
when Vx = 1.398 V, current iD = -28×10-3 (1.398 - 0.9 )  = 13.944 mA

hence ac current id = (14.056 - 13.944) mA = 0.112 mA = 112 μA
