Let us assume we have initially 1 μC at A. Let us bring 1 μC from infinity to the point B and the workdone w1 is given by
Let us bring another charge -4 μC from infinity to C and the workdone w2 is given by
total workdone to assemble the charge configuration w1+w2 = -17.5/(πε0) Joules
Same amount of energy has to be spent to dismantle the charge configuration
