x2 + y2 = 90 and xy = 27
x3 - y3 = (x - y)(x2 + xy +y2)..........(i)
To find x - y we use
(x - y)2 = x2 - 2xy + y2
(x - y)2 = x2 - 2xy + y2
(x - y)2 = 90 - 2 × 27 = 36
x - y = 6
x3 - y3 = (x - y)(x2 + xy +y2) from (i)
x3 - y3 = 6(90 + 27)
x3 - y3 = 702
