Potential energy to lift 10 kg water to a heght of 30 m = m g h = 10 ×9.8× 30 = 2940 J
Kinetic energy of 10 kg water flow if speed is 20 m/s = (1/2) m v2 = (1/2)×10×20×20 = 2000 J
Total energy = 2940 + 2000 = 4940 J
Since flow rate is 10 kg per second, energy per second , i.e. power is 4940 J/s or power is 4940 W
