Equation of cross section of parabolic surface is of type ,  y = k x2 , where k is constant .
 
We are given only the y-coordinate of contact point of block of mass . There is no information about x-coordinate.
 
If we know x-coordinte , then we can find the angle θ between normal to the surface and vertical direction . 
 
Then ' mg cosθ ' is the normal reaction force , i.e. contact force.
 
Hence the answer is (4) insufficient information .
