Expert Answer:
In normal conditions, Ba+2 : O-2 = 8: 4
When pressue is increased. Number of atoms of O comes closer to Ba and tendency of neighbouring atoms increases and it becomes double.
So in high pressure condition, Ba+2 : O-2 =8:8
