Expert Answer:

y2 = 4a ( x + a)

(2y)dy/dx = 4a

dy/dx = 2a/y

Orthoganal trajectories of the curve will be given by:

-1/ (dy/dx) = 2a/y

-dx/dy = 2a/y

-dx = (2a/y )dy.......(1)

Integrating we get

y = ce(-x/2a), where c is the integrating constant.
