CBSE Class 10 Answered

my question is that after tubectomy in females and vasectomy in males, a small part of the fallopian tube and the vas deferens is removed and the ends are tied. so where does the egg or the sperm go since it cannot enter the uterus or vas deferens?

After vasectomy, sperms continue to be produced, as before but since they do not come out of the body after the operation they get absorbed into the body.
After tubectomy, the ovum is produced by the ovary normally, but it is absorbed by the body instead of being shed during the period.
